Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of the Codoki Studio website. Client projects are also governed by the proposal, statement of work or other agreement accepted for that project.

1. About these terms

This website is operated by Codoki AI Ltd, trading as Codoki Studio (“Codoki Studio”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Codoki AI Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 16543240. Our registered office is 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Website information

The website provides general information about our studio and services. We try to keep it accurate and current, but it may be incomplete or become out of date. Portfolio examples, timelines, outcomes, availability and indicative statements are not guarantees that the same result will apply to another project.

3. Enquiries and project agreements

Sending an enquiry does not oblige you to buy, oblige us to accept work, or create a client relationship. A project begins only when the parties accept a written proposal, statement of work, contract or other clear written agreement.

That project agreement will set out the applicable scope, deliverables, assumptions, timetable, fees, payment schedule, change process, responsibilities, acceptance process, cancellation rights, intellectual property terms, support and any third-party costs. If a project agreement conflicts with these website terms, the project agreement takes priority for that project.

4. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, we or our licensors own the website and its content, including its design, text, graphics, branding, code and other materials. You may view the website and print or save reasonable extracts for your own internal, non-commercial evaluation of our services.

You must not copy, republish, sell, license, scrape, reverse engineer or commercially exploit website content without our written permission, except where the law expressly permits it. Ownership and licensing of work created for clients are governed by the relevant project agreement.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that infringes another person’s rights;
  • introduce malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server or connected systems;
  • interfere with the website’s operation or place an unreasonable load on its infrastructure; or
  • use automated systems to extract substantial website content without permission, except legitimate search-engine indexing.

6. Material you send us

You are responsible for ensuring that information and materials you send are accurate, lawful and do not infringe anyone else’s rights. Please do not send confidential information before we have agreed how it will be handled. Sending unsolicited material does not make it confidential by itself.

7. Third-party websites and services

The website may link to third-party sites or services. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

8. Website availability

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We do not promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or harmful code. You should use appropriate security software and maintain your own backups.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information, inability to use the website, or third-party websites. If you use this website for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business, anticipated savings, goodwill, data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from website use. Liability relating to paid services is addressed in the relevant project agreement.

10. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the website and our communications, including our use of cookies and similar technologies. Where consent is required for optional technology, you can accept, reject or change your preferences using the privacy panel or the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised terms apply from the date they are published on this page.

12. Governing law

These terms and any non-contractual dispute connected with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that a consumer resident elsewhere may have the right to bring proceedings in their home courts under mandatory law.

13. Contact
